NanoClaw was built for this exact hardware. Apple-native installer, Apple container sandboxing, Claude integration via Anthropic's macOS-friendly SDK. Sub-second boot. Fanless on the M4 Mini in normal use. This is the macOS specialist in its native habitat.
Setup notes
Download the .pkg from nanoclaw.app, run it. Sign in with your Anthropic API key. Done. The whole setup is genuinely 5 minutes.
Performance
Boot: under 1 second. Idle: 11W (Mini's typical idle). Network-bound for LLM calls. Apple container isolation overhead: negligible.

- Linux/Windows hosts (don't try)
- Multi-LLM workflows (Claude only)
